Challenge — Develop an interactive multiplayer holiday window display to retain the attention of a wide age group, spark fun, play and conversation.
Solution— For the Saks Fifth Avenue holiday windows, we led the branded visual development and directed interactive content and animation with the amazing visionaries and technologist at The Science Project to bring users into the window, immerse them in a story and ultimately get them into the store. It sparkles with fun, play, and births a snowstorm of new Yeti names in the Saks Retail location in New York City as well as online. The infinite landscape and interaction is driven by a unique mobile technology to pull passersby and online visitors into the magic of snowfall and the Yeti’s igloo. As each visitor accesses the mobile experience, they can discover their ‘Yeti’ name, pick a snowflake and flick it with his or her device into the window itself, where it materializes in the sky and falls gently to the ground.
